Ecocert is a private organization operating in over 80 countries worldwide, certifies the organic nature of cosmetics, examining the entire production process, from the selection of raw materials to waste treatment. This association of professionals of the cosmetics industry brings together suppliers of raw materials, laboratories, manufacturers and distributors.

Ingredients verification and formula validation
Validation of raw materials which have to belong to a selective list of authorized ingredients.
Ecocert verifies that all raw materials used are compliant to their standards.
Ecocert validates the % of Natural and BIO ingredients which will be written on the label.

Packaging verification

. Packaging typology analysis.
. Packaging materials analysis. Primary packaging can not contain PVC and Polystyrene. Secondary packaging recyclable materials.

Inspection, certification and control
. An auditor is sent to conduct audits, inspections and take samples from the customers on their sites. Auditors can conduct both scheduled and random inspections.
